The new integration lets program managers and affiliates work with IREV data through Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP-compatible AI clients.

IREV announced the launch of its native Model Context Protocol server for the IREV Partner Platform, giving affiliate marketing teams a direct way to work with their account through natural language.

The integration allows IREV clients to connect the AI tools they already use, including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, to their IREV account. Once connected, users can ask for performance data, compare reporting periods, find offers, generate tracking links or export conversions without moving through multiple screens or preparing reports manually.

It is the first AI-focused tool introduced into the IREV product and a practical answer to a familiar problem in affiliate operations: getting a simple answer can take more work than it should.

Affiliate managers routinely move between dashboards, filters and spreadsheets to answer questions such as which partners improved week over week, which offers are losing momentum or where conversions shifted during a campaign. Affiliates face a similar routine when looking for an offer, checking their results or preparing a conversion export.

With IREV’s MCP Server, those requests can begin with an ordinary question. A user might ask, “Which offers performed best last week compared with the week before?” or “Create a tracking link for this offer.” The AI client translates the request into the appropriate platform action and returns the result within the conversation.

“Affiliate teams do not need another place to hunt for numbers. They need a faster route to the information they already have,” said Artem Larionov, Partner Platform Product Owner at IREV. “Our MCP Server lets a manager or affiliate start with a question instead of a menu. We chose an open standard because clients should be free to work with the AI tools that suit them, while keeping clear control over what each user can access.”

Separate access for affiliates and program managers

The integration provides two distinct access scopes reflecting the different responsibilities inside an affiliate program.

Affiliate MCP gives affiliates access to their own account data. They can browse available offers, generate tracking links, review performance, compare periods and export their conversions. They cannot use the connection to view data belonging to other partners.

Admin MCP is designed for program managers and provides a complete view of the affiliate program. Administrators can identify top affiliates and offers, compare results across periods, retrieve affiliate details and export conversion data. They can also create new affiliate accounts.

The available tools are read-only by default. Affiliate creation is the defined exception requiring write access. This approach keeps everyday analysis and reporting separate from actions that change platform data, reducing the risk of an accidental update made through an AI conversation.

AI access without tying clients to one vendor

IREV built the integration on Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI applications to external tools and data sources. As a result, the MCP Server is not limited to a single assistant or proprietary AI ecosystem. Clients can use any compatible AI application and incorporate IREV into workflows their teams have already adopted.

That flexibility is central to the business value of the release. The aim is not to replace the Partner Platform interface or the judgment of an experienced affiliate manager. It is to remove the repetitive work between asking a business question and reaching the data needed to answer it.

Faster access to performance information can help teams investigate changes sooner, respond to affiliates more quickly and spend less time assembling routine reports. Affiliates gain a self-service route to the information and tracking assets they need, while program managers retain broader visibility across the operation.

The MCP Server also establishes a foundation for IREV’s wider approach to AI-assisted affiliate operations. The company plans to continue developing ways for teams to work with complex partner data more naturally, while preserving access controls and giving clients the freedom to choose their preferred tools.

IREV Affiliate MCP and Admin MCP are now available for clients using the IREV Partner Platform.
